The Korean innovative tech giant LG has also come up to the floor of Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) at Las Vegas with its 65-inch OLED rollable TV which was just 2.85mm thick and can be rolled up like a newspaper.
This ain’t LG Display’s first rollable TV. At CES 2016 we saw the same concept in an 18-inch size, and it was pretty cool then despite its puny resolution (1,200×810, not even full HD) and size. But The new prototype arrives in 65-inch with 4K resolution.
Based on the preview images LG has sent out, the screen slides down into a compact base when it’s not needed. That box also makes a rollable TV inherently more practical because it can house stuff like the power supply, inputs, and speakers.
