It has a 6-inch Full HD+ display with 1.79mm slim bezel and 80.3% screen-to-body ratio with support for glove touch. The device sports metal frame with 2.5D glass laid on either side. The smartphone comes in different variants, the high-end variant is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform and the other variant sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with 3GB or 4GB RAM. Depending on the variant the handset comes in 32GB and 64GB storage models, which both support microSD cards for further memory expansion.
It has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and soft LED flash along with ASUS SelfieMaster technology for smart beautification in selfies, videos and live streams. There is also a secondary 120-degree wide-angle camera. It also has electronic image stabilization (EIS) for both front and rear cameras.
n terms of connectivity, you will get 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with ZenUI 4.0, but it will get Android Oreo update with ZenUI 5.0 by Q3 2018, says the company. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back that can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds. It comes with dedicated Dual SIM and microSD slots and packs a 3300mAh battery.
The ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite will be available in Midnight Black, Rouge Red and Moonlight White colors variants and will go on sale starting next month. No word on the pricing yet.
