Huawei brand Honor on Monday has officially unveiled its latest mid-range Honor 7C today in China. The device will be available in Black, Red, Gold and Blue color options. It comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively. The handset comes with an HD+ display that has an 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with Face Unlock capabilities and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant of the Honor 7C will be priced in China at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 9,200), while the 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage model will be sold for CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 13,400). The phone will be available in Red, Black, Gold, and Blue color variants.
It sports a 5.99-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution. The device comes powered by Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
In the camera department, Honor 7C features a dual camera setup on the back with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The selfie camera has fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity options on the phone include the likes of 4G LTE, 3G, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, and FM Radio. Sensors on board are the fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, and ambient light sensor. Dimensions of the phone are 158.3×76.7×7.8mm and weight is 164 grams.
Honor 7C comes with 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card. There is a 3000mAh battery under the hood. There is currently no update on an India launch. However, we expect the company to launch this new smartphone in the Indian market in the coming months.
