The smart TV space in India is getting more exciting. All this started when Xiaomi launched the most affordable Xioami Mi TV 4 with the 50-inch 4K display. Then Vu launched their 43, 49, 55-Inch 4K UHD Android TVs. And finally, Kodak also officially launched the Kodak 50 inch 4K smart TV in India for Rs 34,999. The smart TV comes with a 50 inch Samsung made LED panel with 60 Hz refresh rate for blur-free picture quality. The TV is exclusively available on Flipkart.
The Smart TV comes with a 50-inch 4K UHD resolution with a screen resolution 3840 x 2160 pixels along with A+ display panel made by Samsung. The TV also boasts High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10 through which images become sharper and deliver vivid colors for the better viewing experience.
The television is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. The TV is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of flash storage. Under the hood, the television runs on the customized version of Android 5 Lollipop with support for screencasting. The device comes with a special remote, which has dedicated buttons to YouTube, Netflix, and Hotstar.
The TV runs on the Android operating system and comes loaded with Aptoide TV app store, which is optimized for the TV and users can download their favorites from it. In terms of audio, the Kodak TV comes with 2 10W speakers, which the company claims can deliver richer sound output. There are different modes as well including Standard, user, music, movie, and sports.
The Kodak 50 inch 4K television offer a maximum brightness of 500 nits with 178 degrees viewing angle. In terms of connectivity, the television offers 3 HDMI port, 2 USB ports, and single Ethernet port.
