The Xiaomi Redmi 5, the company’s latest affordable smartphone in the Indian market, will go on sale via Amazon and Mi.com at 12 PM. The Chinese manufacturer will also be hosting flash sales of Mi TV 4A and Mi TV 4 on its official website and Flipkart. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ resolution display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a premium metal unibody design with thin bezels on the front, just like the Redmi Note 5. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 450 processor, which is clocked at 1.8 GHz and based on ARM Cortex A53 architecture with Adreno 506 GPU. The Mi LED TV 4 has a 55-inch 4K (3840 x 2160 px) display. The Mi TV 4 supports the 4K resolution and HDR10 and the company says that since more content is produced in HDR10 than Dolby Vision, it will continue to support HDR10. It is powered by 64-bit quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB storage along with Dolby audio.
When it comes to connectivity, the TV has 3 HDMI ports (one of them is ARC), two USB ports (1x USB 3 and 1 x USB 2), an Ethernet port, AV input and good old antenna connection as well. The TV only has an S/PDIF port for audio output. If you have a pair of speakers that support Bluetooth, then you can connect them to the TV via Bluetooth.

The Mi TV 4A series was launched in China back in March last year, but the model launched in India has a few differences. The 43-inch model sports a full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display while the 32-inch model has an HD (1366×768 pixels) display. Both display panels have a 178-degree viewing angle and 60Hz refresh rate. The Mi TV 4A models are powered by an Amlogic quad-core SoC that’s coupled with 1GB of RAM. The TVs comes with 8GB of internal storage.
