Vivo V9 Smartphone with 24MP Selfie Camera Launched

A day after launching the Vivo V9 in the Philippines and Thailand, Vivo has officially unveiled its latest high-end smartphone, Vivo V9 today in India. The new Vivo V9 also comes with display notch on the front and vertically aligned dual rear cameras like Apple iPhone X.

Vivo V9:

Talking about specs, the Vivo V9 features a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has a 90% screen-to-body ratio and the display is covered with a 2.5D curved glass.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC which is clocked at 2.2 GHz and based on ARM Cortex-A53 architecture coupled with, Adreno 506 GPU. As for the RAM, the handset comes in only one variant – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage which further expandable up to 256GB through microSD card slot.
In the camera department, the smartphone comes with the dual rear camera setup featuring 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP sensor with a f/2.4 aperture which features new AI Bokeh mode to capture better portrait photos. For selfies, there is a 24-megapixel camera on the front, promising impressive low light imaging prowess.
The camera app also includes a few new features including AI Face Beauty mode and AR stickers.
It runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and powered by a 3,260mAh battery. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (only 2.5G), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Vivo V9 measures 154.81 × 75.03 × 7.89 mm and weighs 150 grams.

Pricing & Availability:

The latest launch from Vivo will be up for pre-orders starting today at 3 pm. The Vivo V9 comes in three hues – Champagne Gold, Pearl Black, and Sapphire Blue. The handset will set you back by Rs 22,990 and will go on sale starting April 2nd. It can be pre-booked from Vivo’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon India, and PaytmMall.
