Well, we think this is the year of smartphone cameras. We all see Samsung launched it’s Galaxy A9 2018 with quad rear cameras, whereas other brands still using dual cameras at back, even this year Google Pixel also powered by the single camera. But its gonna change. Now smartphone manufacturers Huawei launched its Huawei Mate 20 Pro with Triple camera setup at back. Many of you might be thinking that what is the use of those lenses well let’s get deep into it and find out.
Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a 5.8 inch Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S9+ sports a slightly bigger 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display Infinity display with QuadHD+ resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and HDR support.
The new Mate 20 pro features a 6.39-inch OLED display in 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 498 PPI pixel density with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection (Version not specified).
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 980 Soc which is based on 7nm process and where high-performance Cortex-A76 based 2 core clock at 2.6 GHz and other 2 cores are clocked at 1.92 GHz and the Cortex-A55 based 4 core clock at 1.8 GHz and coupled with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU.
It’s available in two variants – one with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage and other is 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage out of the box further that can be expanded up to 256 GB via a micro-SD card in a hybrid dual sim slot.
In terms of the optic department, there is a triple camera setup comes with Leica optics at back arranged in a 2×2 grid. Where the device’s primary lens is 40-megapixel with an aperture f/1.8, 27mm wide sensor, 8-megapixel with an aperture f/2.4,80mm telephoto sensor for zooming and a 20-megapixel with an aperture f/2.2,16mm ultra-wide sensor. Its also has a dual-tone LED flash. It also supports panorama, HDR and OIS. You can record 2160p video at 30fps, 1080p@60fps, and 720p@960fps.
Sensors onboard the phone include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass. In terms of security, it provides a Face ID for an instant unlock, and an under display fingerprint sensor.
On the connectivity front, it features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, with dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, aptX HD, LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, and Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. Like other brands, Huawei also removes the legendary 3.5 mm audio jack.
